Hello — flatfern here. I’m an amateur botanist based in France. I made this website to store my observation photographs and notes for future reference in the field. Feel free to take a tour.

My main areas of interest are monilophytes (ferns and horsetails) and hybridization among plant species. I make most of my observations in the departments of Haute‑Garonne (31), Tarn (81), and Tarn‑et‑Garonne (82).

In addition to plants, I also sometimes photograph insects and fungi encountered during my botanical excursions; however, my knowledge in these domains is very limited, so please take identifications with a grain of salt.
