Notes

Possible confusion with H. hispanica (Mill.) Rothm., 1944, which has erect flower stem tips and mostly oblique flowers, while H. non-scripta has recurved flower stem tips and mostly vertical flowers.

Possible confusion with H. × massartiana Geerinck, 1997, whose bulb divides and produces large, dense colonies, while H. non-scripta does not form colonies.
