Notes
Possible confusion with H. glabra L., 1753, which has leaves with a glabrous abaxial side, and flowers with shorter ray florets (≤ 6 mm) that protrude less beyond the sepals, while H. radicata has leaves with a hairy midrib, visible on the abaxial side, and longer ray florets (≥ 8 mm) that protrude more beyond the sepals.
