Notes
Possible confusion with R. holtii Spruce, 1887, which has brownish-green leaves, while R. complanata has light yellowish-green leaves.
Possible confusion with R. lindenbergiana Gottsche ex C.Hartm., 1864, which is dioecious, while R. complanata is monoicous.
Found on trees in woodland, in shady and moist places. R. complanata is by far the most common species of the genus Radula in Metropolitan France.
