R. minor subsp. minor L., 1756, P;
R. minor subsp. monticola (Lamotte) P.Fourn., 1937.

Hybridizes with R. major var. major L., 1756 to produce R. × adulterinus Wallr., 1840, P (het. syn. R. × fallax (Wimm. & Grab.) Chabert, 1899).
