Notes

Possible confusion with F. verna Huds., 1762, whose flowers have narrow petals (≤ 6 mm), while those of F. grandiflora have broad petals (> 6mm).

Included into the Ranunculus genus by POWO. Phylogenetic studies support keeping this taxon in a separate Ficaria genus (Paun et al., 2005; Emadzade et al., 2010).
